Central Virginia Angel Hearts presents its eighth annual Warren Smoot Memorial Benefit concert on Aug. 2 at Hyland Heights Baptist Church on Wards Road.
This year’s event, scheduled to begin at , 7 p.m., features the award-winning Dove Brothers, The Lesters and Garden of Grace. Smokey Wilson will perform at 6:30 p.m. before the concern begins.
The show is free, although a love offering will be taken to benefit Susan Bailey of Lynchburg, a double-amputee as a result of a bout of e. coli disease. The concert’s purpose is to help an adult in financial need due to illness, accident or other catastrophic events
