AAA: Va. gas price hits record high

Virginia gas prices hit a record high today, with a gallon of regular fuel selling for $3.51 on average, AAA Mid-Atlantic said.
The price is up three cents from Friday’s. One year ago, a gallon of regular gas was $2.85.
Virginia is the 14th cheapest state to buy gas, AAA said. California has the highest price, at $3.91 a gallon on average. Wyoming has an average price of $3.41 a gallon for regular fuel, the lowest average of all the states.
